This stay was a lucky find! The newly renovated home had ample room for our large group! The bathrooms and kitchen are gorgeous - bonus of a large fridge, which is so necessary! Being 5 minutes from Gore was a major plus for hitting the slopes in the morning and getting back after a long day of skiing in fresh powder! Greg was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable trip! - and we all agreed the filtered water was delicious!
This lodge is a gem of a find! All bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen seemed newly renovated. We especially enjoyed the heated bathroom floor, waterfall shower head and each bedroom having its own thermostat. The kitchen was well-equipped with anything one may have needed from cooking to baking. Greg’s small touches upon check-in made the stay even more pleasant. Steins ready to go in the freezer along with a fresh bag of ice, plentiful toiletries for every room (even poo pourie and elastic bands!) and luggage racks to easily pack/unpack. The cherry on top is the incredibly close proximity to Gore Mountain!
Adventures in the Adirondacks
The house was perfect for us. We were 12 adults that went up for white water rafting (6 minutes away). We cooked at home and the kitchen had everything we needed including a beautiful grill that fit all 12 steaks at once. Sitting around the smokeless fire pit in the back yard was a great way to end our day with lots of laughs.

Even though we were rained in we had a wonderful weekend. The home provided everything we needed and more.
Amazing weekend Trip
I rented the house for the weekend with friends and family. Very welcoming, fully stocked with all the amenities you'll need for a relaxing weekend or a long vacation. The host covers everything you could need or want, and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. Highly recommend!
Worth every penny! Greg has gone above and beyond and has thought of all those "little things" that make this place inviting and oh so comfy. You can leave all your worries behind.
There's plenty to do if you are adventurous. Some of our favs were white water rafting, hiking Chimney Mountain, paddleboarding and kayaking at a little, local beach. If you're willing to drive a short bit to Lake George, be sure to rent a boat for tubing, cliff jumping, or simply anchoring to swim. Be sure to dock in Huddle Bay and grab lunch in Bolton.
If you prefer to stick close to your home base, there's a beautiful trail near the bridge that takes you down to the Hudson River, where you can take a dip or watch the sunset. You can also grab a book to read from Greg's selection and sit out back near the campfire! The little town is within walking distance and has a yummy ice cream shop and some great restaurants!

Greg's place was perfect for our group. The house was beautiful. We spent most of our time on Lake George, which was 40 minutes away, but it still made for a great place to stay. We hope to be back in the winter months to spend time at Gore!
